I was wondering if anyone has had the Factory Nav installed in their E?? Is it possible. I would like to get all the features out of it.
I am a possible future E owner.

Um, there isn't a factory Nav unit for the E. There are some who have installed 'in-dash' units and they look really good - I'm thinking right off the top of my head, Box-E and The Rube have those - I'm sure more do too.

In referring to the generic Honda Nav in their other vehicles, yes. But it is a hell of a lot cheaper to buy an aftermarket indash unit.

I have the Pioneer AVIC-D3, its a rel nice unit with lots of pug and play add on features available such as Ipod, bluetooth, backup camera etc. And since it's a free standing unit no worries about interfacing it to the E. Drew:)

For what it would cost to have a Honda unit installed, the Civic and CRV use a standard 2DIN NAV unit, you could get this: http://store.mp3car.com/MP3Car_G4_powered_by_StreetDeck_p/sdk-014.htm

First off to bh241. Yes I know their is no option for a factory nav. I would want to buy a Honda nav myself and install it.
box-E, Yes the Avic-D3 is beautiful, but I want voice control.
And lastly to gibroni, That is an extramly nice unit, but for the price should have alot of the options included.
Thanks guys, I guess that is one thing to add to my E-wishlist.

the answer to your question is YES. the OEM nav system from a civic will fit & bolt up to your element. They usually sell for about $500+ on ebay. There is a guy who sells a modified wiring harness that makes it plug & play for another $500. so it is possible.......Pat
