I just bought an 08 LX fwd NBP. I was thinking about putting wheels on it - black/gun metal - silver lip

How does putting aftermarket wheels on affect the factory warranty?

My E has the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) - What does it take to get new rims to work with the system?

I'm looking to stay in a similar size, maybe slightly larger, or just knobbier - little more rugged/utilitarian looking

it wont affect the warranty. if you dont want the tpms light to be on all the time youll have to pay for new sensors unless you buy honda wheels. i have a set of 03 5 spoke alloys on mine and the firestone place that mounted them reused the tpms sensors from my stock wheels.

Funny, thats what I did. But I added black center caps from the early model steelies. Everybody still says it looks like someone stole my hubcaps.

I left my stock tires/wheels at the dealer, good riddance to the tires. I have the TPMS light on all the time but I simply ignore it.

Of course now I want those wheels back since I'm looking for something to mount winter tires on :rolleyes: Ahh well, if foresight was as good as hindsight...
