We work with a feral cat rescue and have a feral colony on our property (we live in the sticks on a dead-end road) and there are about 15 cats hanging around all the time. I really like having them around, but they won't stay off my Element. Not just muddy paw prints, but scratches too.
Does anyone know of a way to keep them off the E (and our other vehicles)?

Dogs are usually a good start. What's his posture toward the feline persuasion?
Gidget, my Samoyed, would climb up to the Loadwarrior on top if need be to get at cats.
Then I'd really have some big scratches...
If garage is not an option, all I can think of is a thick, even padded, car cover.

I second the dog thing. You might try looking at this thread. (http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36742&highlight=cats)
I wonder if one of the mats to keep them off the furniture would do any good?

Our 150 pound mastiff cuddles with the 2 indoor cats we have and dosen't even seem to notice the cats outside. Our husky/chow mix and the 2 pits we foster don't chase cats either. Garage is full of other stuff. I thought about the car cover, but that sure would be a hassle. I guess maybe there is no easy fix for the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
