I have base model Canadian Element without a an AUX jack on the stereo. Anyone know if/how I can add this to my existing stereo?

If you have the single din radio that is usually an option on the US DX models than the answer is no, you will have to get an aftermarket radio with the aux capability and I'm sure you can purchsae the Aux jack for the dash to make it look pretty at this place "link below" and wire it up to the aftermarket deck.
