I need to kill sometime at work, so thought to post some thread on here.

I have a few gas stations I know they usually have lower price. :D

Since I live around downtown area, the Exxon on Lemmon & Wyclif is always the cheapest in the area.

work at north dallas, at the 75 and campbel, the shell station has good price, too!

(on regular gas price)

I wonder if anyone can share your good price gas station in DFW ;-)

I always buy from a newer looking station of Top Tier rated brand. My thought is I would rather pay a few cents per gallon more than slowly gunk up my engine to possibly higer bills. So for me it is always Chevron, with Phillips 66 and Shell as my back up brands.

FWIW my 2005 E came with a sticker that said 21/24 for mpg and over the last 2.5 years I have averaged slightly better than 22 in town and over 25mph highway. I drive conseratively but I think the gas may have something to do with it. And I never get higher than 87 octane.

Now there are plenty of people here who go for the cheapest gas and say it is fine. If thaat was the case then Costco is about as low as I see it around here in Cowtown.

I pretty much only put gas from Exxon as the one near where I live, or shell, sometimes chevlon.... not really other gas station.

one of the thread in here says shell is one of the top tier gas, so I was happy to find one near my work, that's the cheapest where my driving route! (75/campbell)

Thats the same reason I douse my gut with Budweiser and Coors instead of those low quality microbrews!

I usually buy my gas at one of the Racetracks around Dallas, but I've noticed the price can vary 4-5 cents a gallon (depending on the part of town I'm in).

I'm wanting to boycott fuel from terrorist-supporting companies; Has anyone seen a list of ally-supplied stations?
