: Etronics - are they for real?

After listening to the available speakers in the area I settled on the Infinities. It would cost $199 for the component and $99 for the coax locally. $109 and $69 at Etronics. I placed an order last week expecting delivery either Friday or yesterday. It didn’t happen. After a dozen emails my only answer has been "Call us". The 800 number gives me a fast busy and when they finally gave me their local number I got voice mail. They claimed they tried calling my cell phone but it doesn't' seem to have shown up on the caller id log and the phone never ringed. ( :? Not to mention there was no voice mail…)
I've made hundreds of purchases online and only occasionally had this kind of problem. The question is, Are they for real? Anyone had success with them? Do I place the order again or punt and pay 50% more to get it from a reputable company?

Thanks MB

Never ever had a problem with them. The last order, two sets of Rockford Fosgate speakers showed up on a Friday, after I'd ordered them on Sunday. Maybe they're out to get you?

I ordered a Sony universal remote from them a year or so ago and didn't have a problem. That being said, I would have gone with Crutchfield given the prices being the same. Plus, there is a $20 off $100 coupon for Crutchfield out there that makes it a really sweet deal regardless of their high shipping, and you can get the Honda speaker adapters for free.

I just ordered yesterday and the Infinitys are $69/pair at Crutch.

I have hadexcellent luck with them, the products would only take about 3 days to arrive, most likely because I live near NYC and thats where they are located
