Looks good Reaper! Just try to keep your RCA cables away from your power wire on the way to the amp. You might also think about upgrading the ground wire from the battery to the body while you're at it.

Yup the RCA's are run on the other side of the vehicle, So far the headlights dont dim unless I crank it way beyond my normal listening level (which is probably slightly louder than it should be) here are my thoughts on the system so far.
Bluetooth capable--HOW DID I LIVE WITHOUT IT? its freaking sweet the person on the line comes out of the speakers and they all say that they can tell I'm not talking directly from the phone but without much echo and they can understand what i am saying perfectly.
HU sound (regular speakers)--Sounds great i have the stock speakers up front and some somewhat cheap sony explod speakers in the rear doors, both without any further amplification (keep in mind i dont have a stock amp in the vehicle)
Sub-- THIS THING HITS!!! wicked sound and it really isnt too much bass... the HU has great sub controls. I usually listen to Metal and stuff like that but i did enjoy the "it came from outer Bass" track i have on my zune. Sound quality is great.
I also installed a switch on the amp turn on line so i dont have to have my sub always on if i should choose.
Umm... what am i forgetting, dont know but be prepared for further pics... the sub looks freaking sweet!
OH yea another note on the install, i got all my stuff from crutchfield and they threw in the HU adapter for free so the stock plug is there and i can just take out the aftermarket if i get a new E and just plug the old one back in. Very nice.

Which way did you face your subs?

Single sub is positioned just behind the rear seats in a Sealed box facing the rear window

out of curiosity, why would you run the RCA's opposite the power?
i believe mine as routed right next to the power in my subs. I have the small 10" Rockford enclosure complete with built in amp for just a little more bump without any real compromise in space.

RCA's attract noise from the power cable which is basically the little whining you get from the alternator. I think it's OK for subs since the amp's crossover will eliminate all the higher frequencies so you won't hear it anyway. Regular speakers, on the other hand, play those higher frequencies so the RCAs need to be as far away as possible from the power cable. Any professionals have any input on this?

That's why. You hit it on the head.
Question. I am wondering did you install the Main Fuse under the hood within 18 inches of the battery?

Yes, it is zip tied to the side of the car right next to the battery... under the hood of course... i think its within 6" even... i would hate for my poor little E to start on fire.

You are correct. A sub amp does not require the rca's ran away from the power wire because an amp hooked up to a sub is only producing low frequency. The engine noise or "alternater wine" can only be heard on higher freqencies, which a subwoofer does not produce.
Although if your going to spend the time installing an amp to sub box, why not do it right!
