Can we get the Official word from Honda whether or not adding a sunroof will void/alter any warranties and/or affect the structural integrity of our E's?...

Do the dealers have any word on this?

Do any dealerships install sunroofs as an option?

Would a 3rd party sunroof installer agree to install one if it wasnt safe or legal?

I've seen lots of opinions on this, but would love to see an "official" word here from Honda dealers. (they should know, right?)

I don't have an "offical" word on this, but there have been several posts about some dealers having Es on their lots with an aftermarket sunroof added. And I know that there are several posts about people getting quotes for and having sunroofs installed.

Ultratrim Inc. (www.ultratriminc.com) in Gardena, CA has been doing a lot of the from sunroof installs for dealers in the So. Cal area (most notably the 2 that are featured at Goudy Honda; silver and blue; that's plastered everywhere on the Element boards). They use the Webasto Hollandia series and total cost for install is $1,295.

Anyway, not "official" word from Honda Corporate on whether or not this voids the warranty, but the Goudy dealer said it doesn't.
