Hey friends!

Hope this note finds you all doing well. School has resumed for me and I'm terribly busy this semester - I'm taking - gulp! - 15 hours.

Plus I'm working as much as I can as a volunteer for Howard Dean who's running for President.

So, my forum time has been eaten up by school and campaigning. Thank God I don't also try to have a social life.

News of Lucy - she just passed 3000 miles yesterday and is doing wonderfully.

She did have an ouchy hurt. I was driving up to Oklahoma and a big truck carrying debris barrelled past me. The next thing I knew a chunk of rock the size of a baseball came flying right at the middle of my windshield. CRASH! The noise was horribly scary and Lucy had a very bad hurt on her windshield - 5 major cracks, and a dozen little ones, all radiating out from an impact spot about the size of a quarter.

Well needless to say I had to have my windshield replaced, but there's not a car in the world that would have stood up to that big nasty jagged rock. I think I'm lucky the whole windshield didn't just completely go because it hit very hard.

Lucy's all well now. I took her to the good people at John Eagle Honda in Dallas and they fixed her up in one afternoon. And gave her a bath! Now that the weather is turning milder I'm going to hand wash and wax my girl and make her unbelievably pretty, as she deserves to be.

So all in all, I'm good, but busier than a one-legged man in an @ss-kicking contest. My parents are great. My petz are great.

Big hugs to everyone. Hope you're all loving your Elements and enjoying many safe happy miles in them. Drop me a line to say hi if you're so inclined. I'd like to know what's up with you.

All the best,

Kimmy~!!!!!

I am so glad to hear that all is well with you!!! I was getting ready to email because we hadn't heard a peep out of you in quite sometime and was starting to get worried that something was wrong!

I am glad you are keeping yourself busy....we can't have any hellcats roaming aimlessly deep down in the heart of Texas!!

Glad to hear that Lucy is doing well! Baby Blue (my E) just hit 7,000!!! I can hardly believe how fast he is growing....lol!!!

Sorry to hear about Lucy's windshield, but the same thing happened to Baby Blue on the highway to Chicago, the noise is so "BIG" and it scared the living daylights out of me.

Drop us a line whenever you have a spare second!
Hugs to you and Henry!

And a good evening to you Luscious Hellwench. You have been conspicuois by your absense! Me and my Flaming Box have been just fine, we have been getting various things done, like a free DashHugger dash cover from the factory when I let them use my E as the template and hung around taking pictures of the steps involved. I do not have a windshield problem. I took it on a trip to Vegas at just under 9,000 miles and I still get the same gas mileage that I would get if I went around town. Just doesn't change, even when the cruise is set at 71 and I am on a flat surface!

Glad to see you back, at least for a quick post!

School has also eaten into my forum time. I am taking 21 credit hours this semester and 3 of those are science classes with 3 hour labs i only get 1 hr worth of credit so i actually have more like 27 class hours. Oh well I might as well get used to it Med school schedules just get worse.

It's kinda ironic....school is adding to my EOC time.....with my husband taking 4 classes and working this semester, I have a lot of down time when I am home....which after housework,, the gym, reading and a few other hobbies it leaves a little bit too much free time on my hands.

I feel like a sailor's wife....waiting for her husband's ship to come back from see, but in this case I am waiting for classes to end!

:o of the rock incident ok. I was just flying down the highway today and a double tractor and trailer flipped one of the trailers it was pulling and dumped about 20 pallets of bricks on the highway, scarred the Hell out of me and my wife, fortunately we were three lanes over. We slowed down and my wife looked back, I don't think anyone was hurt. A miracle, considering it was almost bumper to bumper. Good luck with your courses, to all of you. Being in HR I can not emphasize how important a college and graduate education is. With the world economy we need to be smarter, faster and more worldly than our counterparts.

Have a great weekend. :) :
