TPMS questions...

If i put a set of 08 SC wheels on my 07 EX with my previous factory TPMS, The dash warning light will stay on til i put my OEM EX wheels back on? Or will I be ok?

What if I used the TPMS from the SC wheels? Would the sensor still turn on as this is not factory spec wheels for my element model?

Is it worth the extra $200 to have the TPMS included with the SC rims/tires? Cuz i have sensors lights coming on like nobody's business.



This TPMS stuff is all greek to me. Completely greek.

You can use the TPMS sensors from the 08 wheels, you just need to take them someplace and have the car re-programed to the new sensors.
The car can only know one set of sensors at a time.

The Honda dealer will do it for big $$$$$

Our local independent tire dealer will do it for around $20, so they say.

could i take the TPMS from my EX rims and install them into the SC rims? Or is this not worth it?
