for those of u with the 07-08 element sc where did u get your install kits because everyone has told me that they don't make them yet and that i will need to make something custom

What are you looking to install, single or double din? If double din you already have everything you need, use the brackets from your factory HU. I'm glad you mentioned that. The newer OEM radios have slanted sides so you will have to get the surround garnish for an '06 model. also for those of you who said that you used a "honda kit" was it for the element or another vehicle??? also if i get just the pocket what is gonna hold the headunit in place????

You reuse the brackets off of your stock HU. There are holes for single din and pocket and holes for double din. You will also need the wire harness adapter and and antenna adapter. You need part #10 for the storage pocket you already have # 5 and 6. werD:-?

For intrests sake the Scosche part number for '07 and '08 Elements is
HA-1702B. This will accommodate the slanted sides of the stock radio trim.
Although I prefer the use of the existing mounts as they will be more sturdy.

And I changed the radio surround to the 06 piece which had the square sides:). werD:cool:
