I called my Dealer about getting some touch up paint ( Shoreline Mist ) for my Element because of a couple of scratches and Honda informed him that its not available?? Any suggestions on how to get some?
Thanks

You could also try www.autosharppen.com
They sell what amounts to a felt tip pen with automotive paint inside. I've always found standard dealer touchup paint where the brush is in the bottle cap to be nearly useless. You need a better brush or you end up with a blob.

This gizmo allows for much more controlled application. I bought one for my '02 MINI Cooper S and have been very pleased. They can do a pen with clearcoat too (is Element clearcoated?) I don't know what paint codes apply to the Element (don't have mine yet - on order) but their web page says they have everything (two pages for Honda) or will get it! They had no trouble with my MINI.

If you decide to try - don't panic when you see the crazy shipping charge. Order by phone and tell them to MAIL IT. Which they can for a fraction of the shipping cost (auto paint is HAZMAT!!!)

H and A also sells the pens, for every color EXCEPT my SOP :( I bought a bottle of touch up paint, but not for touching up. I have a bottle of touch up paint in every color of every car I've owned. I've never used any of them, but I have them....
