: Chrome Bull Bars
demasih. 02-27-2008, 06:15 PM Hey all I could only find the chrome plated Bull Bars on ebay. I kinda like the idea of the chrome being it should last longer, if the quality is as good as ive heard. My delema, idk if the chrome would look good on ol' Elanore. Please if anyone has purchased the chrome Bull bar, post some pics!
Help a brotha out.
thanks all
demasih. 02-28-2008, 06:48 AM well last nite i got super board...
so i copied the picture of the element on the ebay site with the chrome bar attached, then with some modding i preimposed the bar on a picture i had of my element, changed some colors around, lined up the body lines, and i got a pretty good representation of what it would look like. I didnt save the pic (plus im at work) but i thought it looked sharp. So i bought it, when it come imma put it in the same day i do my fogs and ill post some pics. I think my elle will be the first with a chrome bull bar. Well see....and the saga continues.:D
demasih. 03-06-2008, 10:05 AM I got my bull bar last nite via fed ex, lemme tell ya its a pretty nice unit. The hand drawn instructions are a little lack luster but hey as long as the parts are nice.
so saturday is the install day im doin my h.d. grill guard and honda fog lights then too. Will post pictures stay tuned.
demasih. 03-08-2008, 11:27 AM Okay yall here we go! I went to my shop today around 7:15, I completed my factory fogs, homedepot grill, and my hunter bull bar. Got all set around 9:30.
Def. easy installs all around. Lemme know what yall think. I believe im the only one on here with the chrome bull bar, being i couldnt find anyone else with one. If there is get at me fellow chromers.
demasih. 03-08-2008, 11:30 AM one more pic for yall.Keep in mind my summer wheels and tires are factory chrommies too so itll all blend alittle beter.I think the homedepot grillie helps to in the blending process.
Burn619 03-08-2008, 12:18 PM Looks good! I haven't seen chrome bars before like those, I like the cross beam on the bottom. It will look better with the chrome wheels.
Maybe some chrome sidesteps could help tie it all together too, just my 2¢...
demasih. 03-08-2008, 12:58 PM it might be just me but the overall diameter of the stainless bar seems a touch bigger then the black. I do like the idea of chromie side steps. Good idea!
tribalelement 03-08-2008, 12:59 PM It does look good
scanrps 03-08-2008, 07:43 PM I like them, thanks for posting the pic's.

Im always in for pics. Thats half the fun of modding.
thanks all for the compliments.
5th_Element 03-08-2008, 09:58 PM How hard was it to install the Bull bar? Did you have to drop the front end?
demasih. 03-09-2008, 08:07 AM not hard at all. I already had the front clip removed to put in fog lights, so i didnt totally remove the lower splash sheild. If you do install the bar without removing the front clip, i would recomment removing the lower spash shield, if not it kinda fights ya.

Thanks demashih!
prooney343 03-09-2008, 05:36 PM looks sweet........ great job
demasih. 03-09-2008, 06:52 PM its def easier to put the bull bar on with a lift or a second person to hold the bracket in placed while you start the frame bolts ya kinda need three hands. thats when the lift came in handy, being the car was eye level i could rest the mount on my right sholder while i used one hand to hold the top plate and the other to start the bolt. thats when the kinda fights ya part comes in lol
thanks for all the positive feed back.!
elementbryon 03-10-2008, 02:37 PM Stylin'! I'm not big on chrome but your rig totally pulls it off. Nice job, very urban sophisticated.

well put my friend well put
I started out doing an oil change and wound up installing my bull bar. It wasn't really hard, I did mine all by myself :D, I took a tip from someone else and used a bungie cord.
demasih. 03-17-2008, 05:54 PM why didnt you cut out the Honda H? I did mine solo too just used my sholder for extra help
lol, as I recall I did it last year , was in a hurry. I was leaving on a trip south. I do plan on re-doing both grills as you can see they're looking bad. I have a set of pilot lights I'm going to install in the upper grill and lookin for lights to put on the bar. btw, your ride looks nice
demasih. 03-18-2008, 04:47 PM Thanks, I like the look of the black bar and yer blue panels. I love the idea of the fogs in the upper grill. I remember back a while ago i seen it on the f-150s
and i loved it then. good stuff
