I am shocked when people look at my E asif its a U F O for the fact that I have seen a handful of E owners here in Ohio. I refer to Edger (E),to the mothership at times. Anywho, I am curious to know about any E owners in Ohio, I have seen you all out there, but no one is posting?

I'm here. I haven't seen too many on the roads, but I also work at night, so I don't get the opportunity to see too many, either.

So far, I'm still the only one at my workplace with an Element, and quite frankly, I'd prefer to keep it that way. When you walk out to a parking lot full of about 400 cars, it's nice to spot yours right away.

I WOULD like to get something together around here (midwest anywhere, really), but I'm not sure how far we'd have to go to draw some interest.

I am all for getting something together locally. I have only seen 3 of us here in the Cleveland area and one other in Akron. I like being the only one at work who has one. I love the unique comments and also the infrequent compliments. :D

Another Ohio Element owner here checking in. Live in Lorain County, had my E for about 6 weeks now and LOVE it! I get all the looks everyone talks about and a lot of curious questions I enjoy answering. Don't quite know how to describe the feeling that comes over you when you are in the E' Have never felt this way about any other vehicle I have owned.

Hi guys. I live in Lorain county, too. Have had my E since June - already have almost 9,000 miles. Still love it.

I am seeing more and more E's all the time in the Cleveland area. At first I'd see maybe one a week, now a couple or more each day.

Still get a lot of comments at the gas pump and elsewhere, but not as many looks on the freeway as a couple of months ago.

I just got my E last Saturday. It's amazing how people laugh at it until they really look at it. It's also fun to see SUV owners' faces when they ask how much it was. So much better than their $40000 piece of crap.

Cleveland /Akron here. I get all kind of strange looks and of course the questions...I love the questions and also the looks curious non E owners give when they find out the price range. I do have a problem though...I sadly got a flat tire, ( the E feelings were hurt, as it has only been on the road 3 weeks) but I have found people like to touch it. I guess its kinda like, they dont know what it is so they have to feel it. People dont even mind touching it when I am sitting right in it. Again, I feel like the mothership! Going to the gas station is not just going to the gas station anymore...plan for an extra 10 minutes for all the questions. I love this vehicle, you cant help but to smile when you look at it. I am glad to see more E owners in Ohio online, or glad I am see ya all on. I see E's around and wave and always wonder, "wonder, if they are on E O C"

Greetings to all, just found the EOC and would love to find others who love and enjoy their Elements. Had mine about 4 months and really enjoy it. I keep a bike in the back so I can ride each day during lunch break at work. Am looking for idea's and ways to "improve" an already great vehicle. Addition of XMradio was a great start!

Its amazing how many E's have popped up here recently. in fact, im hard pressed to come up with a time i havent gone for an errand and seen at least one or two between point A and point B. some folks are cool and wave. others dont get it.

i percieve somewhere around a 300 per cent increase in the nuber of E's around here since i took possession of mine in mid october. (and thank god they arent SOP's lol)

nice to see the community growing!
(now, if we could just get them to the forums!) lol

I'm near Pittsburgh and my E is being built this week sometime. I'l jump in with the OH crowd since it's closer to me then all the Philly owners 5 hours East. Oh, and I was born and raised in Akron so I'm biased :)

I just wish the E was here so I could bring it home for T-Day this week.

building your E? my dealer has a bunch on the lot, honda of mentor. Why couldnt your dealer just do a inter dealer transfer? I noticed a lot of dealers as i was talking to them checking thier computer and seeing where everything is located.

just makes me curious. =D

No black 5 speed EX 4wd's around the tri state area. The only one that was available is in Cincinatti and I didn't want one driven that far, so I opted to wait one more week for the exact one I wanted that's being built this week and shipped via truck to me with 0 miles on it. This particular E was allocated to another dealer but with no buyer lined up, they traded inventory for it from the factory.

I could have had one traded with roughly 300-350 miles on it. I didn't want that. Black, 4wd and manual tranny were non-negotiable to me. If I couldn't get it, I wasn't buying.

well then, i hope you enjoy your new E, and true, getting exactly what you want is a good thing! (did you order yours with any accessories?) snowing here today, looking forward to enjoying it with mine.

best of luck!

I only ordered keyless with it. I have chrome 18" pimp rollers lined up for it (20's are sooo tempting, but not with the roads around here) and some underhood goodies via my friend who owns a honda/acura performance shop. 2 10" subs and an amp just waiting for a vehicle to be installed into. I'm also waiting for the release of black powder coated side steps, from what I can tell a few companies claim to have them in production already. Westin is supposedly one company.

As a skier, with 2 dogs, I don't want any carpet mats to get wet and foul smelling :) Then in the summer I'd just have to vaccum grass from the golf bags/shoes out of the carpet anyway.

I refuse to pay Honda's prices for foglights when I can get REALLY good ones from Hella or PIA for less than $100. So, no on accessories at this time

Hi all!

I got my Element back in October, but haven't been on the site for awhile. Apart from a few engineering flaws, this is one great vehicle! I have had nothing but positive reactions from people about it.

My partner and I are planning a road trip to Florida next month, so hopefully we'll finally be in some good weather and I can get the E washed and waxed nicely.

My husband and I went to Jungle Jim's, destination site in Fairfield, OH <g>, when we came out with the groceries there were three other SOP Es in the area around where we parked our SOP E. We had to check license plates to determine which one was ours.

That's funny.....A couple weeks ago, I was at Tabby's in Mason. When I left, I took out my remote, walked to "my" E, and pushed the unlock button. Nothing happened.

I started to think that my remote was broken or the receiver broke.

Then I realized it wasn't my car : :D

Was funny because I was thinking the entire time that I didn't remember parking in that section of the lot!

BTW - got a MBP 4WD

We just bought ours the end of December and see lots around town. The local dealer, College Hills Honda, has a nice web site and are pleasant to deal with. One of their sales people has approached the owner about having some sort of Element rally. He actually bought his own SMM EX AWD 5 speed and is a walking advertisement for them. Also, one of the most entertaining people I've come across in years. If you're ever there, be sure to ask for George!

I know these were posted a LOOONG time ago, but since summer is revving up again...

I live in Milwaukee, but grew up in Mentor, OH and parents still live there, so I'd be interested there. My brother also lives in Piqua (Dayton) so that would be a possibility too. Oh, and I just really like Columbus and Cincinatti a lot, so I'd go there, too. :)

We were visiting friends in Columbus last weekend for the Dublin Irish Festival and went out for breakfast. While we were eating a couple must have spent 15 minutes looking over our E. It was if they wanted to buy our E. :D

Hello Everyone! I am a new E owner. I have love this car since it first came out. My old car just got totalled so I had to get a new one. I had just paid off my other one in March. Anyway I am so happy to be a member of the club. I bought the 2004 4WD LX Automatic. I paid 18,000 and had them throw in keyless entry. I bought the Sunset Orange. I don't think I ever saw a prettier car. I am in love.

Hey, I'm new to the site and planning on buying a new E in the next few weeks. Have a 10-yr old, 96lb Old English Sheepdog and she is tired of riding around in my `91 Olds Cutlass Supreme, she was raised in a (now defunct) `93 4-dr Blazer. I went to all 3 Honda dealers around town, was most impressed with Voss in Tipp City. Anyone around Dayton got any tips on who to go to?

I am in Columbus, and got my E delivered today!!!!!!!!!! I'm beside myself. This is my very first NEW car. (no doubt, my last, lol). I got the 2004 EX, in Fiji Blue, AWD, with mud guards (which the dealer gave me a hard time about). I hope I got a good deal...(18,800). I've seen '03's listed for well over 19 locally...so I'm thinking I did okay.

Anyway...just wanted to say hi to you all, and share my joy.

Picking up my E tomorrow. 4WD EX AT Magnesium Metallic w/ a bunch of accessories. Can't wait.

Picking it up at Youngstown, (actually the Honda Store is in Boardman), where I work and spend half my time - other half of my time will be in Cincinnati, where my wife lives.

So you'll be seeing me on I-71 & 76 about once every two weeks. Going back and forth for clients in Cincinnati and to see the little woman.

Any E owners in Y-town? In Clifton/Downtown Cinti?

Cleveland here. The E is my finance's car and she absolutely loves it. It has been a great car for her for almost a year now. This has been one of the nastiest winters I can remember and the E has taken it with a smile, we love the Real-Time 4WD, it is a blast in the snow. When we got her E everyone was thinking we were nutz, but after they have been in the car and seen it up close there tune changes, and they can't believe all the car you get for the $. Long live our E.

Columbus suburb here (Galena actually). Got my silver with blue panels about 2 weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Wanna have some fun with it, put on fog lamps last week, want an Aries Brush Guard and (with some input from some on here) am thinking about painting it blue to match the blue cladding.

Anyone on here work at East Liberty so they can put my brush guard through the paint line? LOL

Have some 18" wheels coming in that I purchased on Ebay this week. Then Im definetely getting some side steps and a roof rack (possibly with a basket). Might paint the wheels blue too, they are currently black with a bright trim ring.

I wanted to see more but they had a lot of it closed off. Godsmack filmed a video there a few years ago and I wanted to see where it was. Enough about me.
