Hey all,
I thought I'd use my 100th post  to see if we can get a date for an E caravan to the top of America's mountain, Pikes Peak. We gave it a shot last year and couldn't pull it off, so how's about y'all toss out a few possible dates. I might suggest Memorial Day weekend so's way out of towners can come and do some camping to make it a fun trip and/or we can collaborate on a rafting trip for Day 1 or 2, assuming the Peak fills one day.

Last year's plan was to meet up for breakfast just off Hwy 24 outside Manitou Springs and then caravan to the top. I figure on breakfast at 8-ish, head out at 9 and we are on top by 11 with lots of time for pics and hanging around plus a slow descent.

Any other ideas, concepts or possibilities to toss around? Perf, what's the situation on your end of the world? Maybe camping potential and then hiking/rafting or more E-caravanning from there?

Anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller?

Usually I'm out of town on Memorial Day but not this year (it's earlier in May than usual), I'm in, my choice is Saturday! Thanks for remembering to bring this up again.

I'll probably only do the day, I'm flying out the following weekend for the Trek 100 in Wisconsin and will probably want/need to get a long (75-80 mile) ride in that weekend.

One of us should probably go through the previous thread and find everyone that expressed an interest in this and e-mail them. I'm planning on going to the Denver auto show next weekend and stopping by TC Perf so I'll see if we can get HondaGhandi there if they don't see this thread before then.

p.s. - Mrs Perfdata and I have both lost almost 20# each  and we don't want them back.

I'm out and about tomorrow, so let's see if folks gravitate to this thread  I'll post a quick note on the other thread and then next weekend maybe send out a few PMs. Congrats on the weight loss, this is a tough time of year for that, good on you and Mrs. Perfdata.

Happy Easter--you gettin' snowed on tonight? We have a couple inches of the heavy wet stuff on the ground, LOL! Springtime in the Rockies!:grin:

I'd love to make a Pikes Peak run. Depending on the job situation I'll be there:D

I'm interested. I do have this little thing called graduation coming up a few days after memorial day that I need to plan for. Really it depends when my family gets in town for the festivities.

I always love watching the Thunderbirds fly. This graduation will be different since I will be on the field (and get to shake hands with Dubya!)

No worries, I am getting to fly airplanes for a living, its the least I could do.
