I have an LX without the factory SUB and was thinking about slipping one of those Blaupunkt compact 8" subs under the passenger seat. Anyone every tried that? Recommendations alway welcome.

There are 2 units, the THB200a and THB210a.

The 200 is sealed and fits under the back seats, I installed 2 in my element and was not impressed. I may be spoiled; however, the bass was just not deep enough for me.

You do notice a difference; about par with the factory sub.

The ported ones may be better because of the ports and higher power; however, I have not tried those yet. Those do not fit under the seats.

Wholly crap! I haven't seen that unit for anything below $199. That's a great site. I've never had a really slamm'n set up, so just having amplifiers and some sort of sub is a vast improvement for me.
