: Photos allowed in Honda plant?

I'm still not sure if I can get time off work, and if my wife and I will be able to attend the event. It sounds like it's going to be a great weekend! If we do go, we'll be camping. I don't know if these questions have been asked by anyone else, but will the Honda tour give us the opportunity to see Elements (other vehicles are also made there) being assembled? Also, are there any restrictions as far as bringing cameras (taking photos) in the plant?

Cameras are forbidden at the Honda plant. During some segments of the tour, you will see Elements and/or Civics being built.

What do you mean you can't get time off work???
Book it off now man!! Times a wasting!

I think we still have room for a couple of sleeping bags in our room! Can't have Canadians missing out on the party!

You have to come! Tardis and us don't wanna be the only Canadians there....
There's supposed to be like 150 Eppl there, and only 3 of us! That's not fair ya know...some of them will feel left out, not being able to share our greatness, eh....

Thanks for the offer, Tim - very kind of you. :) We really love sleeing in our tent, though, and thought it would be doubly appropriate if the first camping trip with our E would be for this occasion. (Too bad there's no smilies wearing a touque.)

Yes, the rules are...

NO cameras (If they find one on you while on tour, you may not get it back)
NO open toe or open heel shoes
All who go on the tour must be at least 14 years old

Please keep in mind that we are not able to take everyone on the tour. We'll announce all of the details later. Thanks!

Most of you probably already know this, but some may not.
East Liberty Auto Plant currently makes Civic 4D, CRV, and Element.
The production schedule is set well in advance, so it is difficult to
say exactly what will be running when you take a tour. Cars are
built in lots, typically 60 at a time. Like models are built together.
For instance, they may run CRVs all morning, have Elements in the
afternoon and Civics all night on second shift.

Yes. By me. In my official capacity as wanting to get beat up by women the most

Can't wait, I really hope we get to see Elements being built! Though CRV would be ok too, they have essentially the same basic framework :D
