Well, let me first say that I love my E but, I have had nothing but problems with it the 4 months that I've had it. It's been to the dealership for the following:

3 times for the windshield (currently getting it's second one...evidently, it doesn't want to seal properly and pulls away causing rattles and wind noise)

3 times for various and continuously "knocking" door latches. The passanger side is really bad.

2 times for rocking driver seat.

1 time for exhaust rattles.

1 time for A pillar rattles

1 time for rear seat hinge panel rattles

I am sure I am missing some other things but when do I have the recoarse to say enough is enough? I don't have a good feeling about the windshield either and if it needs to be repaired AGAIN (3rd fix and 4th trip to the dealership) should I be intitled to some sort of arbitration or lemon law on the car? I would really like a brand new E and would even pay a usage fee on the miles I have put on the car (which I believe to be arbitration).

Some advice and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

California has a "lemon law". I will presume that you have saved all of your service paperwork, and that you in fact had paperwork for every visit (beware - some service writers will let a "repeat" on a minor problem slide through without docs).

If you've got a good paper trail, now would be a good time to at least talk to an attorney about your options.

Do a search on Lemon Law on the net. There you should be able to find info on it. Hope you are not leasing as many Lemon Laws don't cover Leasers, only buyers. Also, the AZ lemon laws state the problem with the vehicle has to cause it to be undriveable and be in for that problem 3 times.

Good luck, it sounds like you definitely got a less than perfect E!
