Will an ECAMPER affect XM radio reception?

Actually they build them, off of Es that they purchase. Far as I've read, there is no aftermarket kit they sell to add on to your E.

According to their website, they also do conversions (http://www.ursaminorvehicles.com/conversions.htm). My father and I would take a road trip down to Baja and hang out a few days while they do it.

Best bet may well be to contact them by phone. You can usually ask them your base question and any additional questions that come up because of the answers you'll get.

The stock FM antenna on an ECAMPER is replaced with an aftermarket antenna, located under the fiberglass of the camper base at the back of the Element. The fiberglass doesn't impact reception, but this location gets it out of the way of the pop-top latch mechanism.

If the Element is an EX using the XM, the factory XM base is replaced with an XM antenna mounted on the top of the camper.
