I have only had my Little Toad for about 2 weeks, but the first thing I noticed was the inconvenience of the cruise control button and that the odometer didn't have the tenths of a mile. I would change those 2 things right away.

Both trip odometers have tenths, and that's what most use for measuring anything.

Are you talking about the on/off cruise button on the lower left of the dash? Just leave it on, doesn't hurt anything. The actual control buttons I love the placement of, same as our CR-V, easy to find/use.

The cruise control on/off is located there for safety reasons. If the only controls were on the steering wheel, there is a good chance you might accidentally turn it on and begin accelerating when you don't intend to. You should leave it off if you don't plan to use cruise control for a period of time.

I don't think this is a big problem, as the cruise won't kick in if you are under 25 mph. I've left mine on since the day I picked it up.
