The above link is to an article about the recent growth in inventory and sales of "ugly" cars.
It mentions "ugly" cars such as the PT Cruiser, the infamous Scion xB, and the ever-popular Pontiac Aztek... ...but it doesn't even mention our beloved Honda E!
Which, I guess, is a wonderful thing! :D
I'm just glad there are at least some non-E owners out there with good taste. (I'm just assuming the writer doesn't have an E....)

shoot...I just noticed there was a poll on the left side of the article to vote for the ugliest car.
The E falls second to the Aztec as the ugliest car according to the poll....
Sigh.
I just don't get it. :| People can be so narrow-minded...
Frankly I don't care if most people hate it or think it is ugly. It just makes it more unique. As long as there are enough people buying it for Honda to keep producing the car then it is fine by me.
BTW, I bet most wouldn't call this 7.0-liter, 665-hp, 625-lb-ft V8; rwd, six-speed manual Aztek ugly! :)

Ugly is the eye of beholder really fits with these supposedly ugly cars and the reason I think they sell is because they are different. I've always looked at other cars going down road to see how many people are driving the same make as I do and what I like with what they've done with thiers. In most cases anymore you can't tell a Honda from Toyota from Neon until you can see the logo, boring.
I like the looks of the PT Cruiser, Scion, and even the Aztec. The Aztec was my second choice. Along with the Element when you see one of these cars, even if you are not looking, you will notice them and know what they are.

Well, I guess I'm a "ugly"-kind of car guy because my last car was a PT Cruiser and now I have my Element :D . I agree that beauty (or ugliness) is in the eye of the beholder. I don't care for the Aztek, but I'm not going up to their owners and telling them their ugly. Anyway, I love my Element and that's all that matters! :P
