I know alot of you guys have 235 on your E's. I want to put the dunlop mud rovers on my E. (235 70 16). I am wondering whether anyone know whether these will fit. Technically they should fit. BUT technically and actually are 2 different things. :?: :?: :?:

You are absolutely right. Actual tread width versus section width (235 being the section width) varies greatly among tire styles. That's what I didn't like about the stock tires - they sloped back in to a very narrow tread for the section width of the tire, in my opinion. I like the more square shouldered look (on the tires, that is) that puts tread on the ground. 235/70 Fortreras fit well - but from what I can see on my E, that is the limit of tire height the E will take without rubbing the inner fenders with the rear part of the front tires. I haven't seen any close parameters due to the width.

The only way you'll find out is to get a good shop to bring some in and try 'em on in the hopes they'll fit.

Good luck...
