I'm purchasing an element very soon and obviously none of them come with a GPS navigation system, thus I'm looking into buying a GPS system. However, I saw a video where a man could have his laptop in the element.. so couldn't you have your navigation system on the laptop?
A thought, but either way I'm looking into a nice GPS system if anyone has any suggestions. (Or any that work best with the element's interior.)

What you're thinking of is a program like MS Streets and Trips or DeLorme. Either will do a good job for you. although putting the laptop on the seat will probably cause you numerous issues (life threatening being one of them). Get a laptop vehicle mount from Ram Mounts. They are the kind most police use and they'll mount to the seat posts, no drilling required. Lastly what they are referring to is a SIRF star III (3) chipset. This is the latest generation of GPS receivers on with full support (there is one newer design, but I haven't seen enough improvement to make it worth investing in.)
Follow the links, they'll show you what I mean.:D

These are places I have done many hundreds worth of business with. I can heartily recommend them,
BTW: I recommend MS Streets & Trips because if you get a wifi signal, you can update your maps to reflect any DOT road closures etc and it will calculate necessary stops for sanity and fuel based upon your mpg rating (assume 20 mpg), level you'd like the tank to stay above and nearest station to said path.

Thank you for all the help! :) That was exactly all the information I needed without continuing my hours of searching it all. :D
