Hi to all.
I'm a brand new forum member. I just purchased a brand new silver '08 EX 5- speed AT last week. I love it so far.
I've got a question for you people who may know what I would like to know about the AUX connection port on the passenger side of the IP. I have an Ipod Mini - not the very latest model variation but the one just before that. I would like to know exactly what hardware I need to connect my Ipod to the AUX port and what, if anything, I need to do otherwise to play my music through my Element's speaker system.
All my songs on the Ipod are in the native Itunes format, not plain MP3's, and I wonder if that affects anything as well. I assume that that means I have to select and otherwise control everything from the Ipod itself, with no chance of doing anything with the Element's own sound system controls, except volume.
I expect one of you must know all about this stuff. Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
David
P.S. A little OT I know, but I'm fairly pleased that I just got about 20MPG on my very first tank of gas in all-city driving; a little better than I expected, and I hope it only gets better with break-in.
