Sometime between Sunday night @ 10:30 and Monday morning @ 7:00, my 3 week old E was egged. I washed it right away at 7:00 when I noticed it, but it was too late the paint had already started to blister and crack. Does anybody know why this happens?
My sister-in-laws Trail Blazer also got hit, but her paint is fine. :?:

Have you seen this thread?:

You might want to compare notes.

I had a car egged once, but it was from a freeway overpass while I was driving it. While I washed the egg off within minutes, the impact dented the hood and the shell scratched paint off. It cost $850 to fix, and the repaint never was right!

Well I got me E back on Wed. from the bodyshop and it looks good! and it was only $150. :)
Now today, Friday, I noticed that someone keyed my car over night.

This happened at a completely different location from the egging
incident, 30 miles away.
Has anyone else noticed there E is a target?

I hate to suggest this, but...I suspect that someone is targeting you and not the vehicle. :(

My E wasn't egged but last night someone sprayed some white window flake paint < it's a can of spray where you use for fake Christmas snow decorations for window display purposes >. The white stuff came off but the clear residue on the paint was still all over the passenger side. So i had to drive an hour back home to wash it off. My neighbors was looking at me kinda strange, washing my E at 8:00 at night in a rain storm. Then i had to buff out the clear residue inside of the garage and it took about an hour to clean everything off. I was lucky it wasn't some type of permanent paint.

The bastard also sprayed a retail window and a telephone pole.
