Nothing beats seeing it on the imax screen. Ours got shut down about a week after I saw Reloaded there. It blows that im going to have to watch Revolutions (nov 5) in the normal theatre...

I said theatre, not home projection. Home projectors don't have 3 chips. See this link before disparaging DLP http://www.dlp.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1#Scene_1. Your mind may boggle a little at the mirrors (mine did).

I saw Finding Nemo at a DLP theatre and it was the best picture I have ever seen. I have seen IMAX, have a home theatre projector with HDTV. The DLP theatre beat them all for picture quality.

The movie insults anyone who has an inclination towards philosophy and baffles the everydayman. Overall decent sound effects but falls slave to modernity and cliché.

Why you gotta hate? Some of us like to watch movies for entertainment!

Nice to know you think you are better than everyone else!

Bush-

This was the first time I was disappointed about a Matrix movie. I mean really, what what the message you got from the end? There are so many differing opinions about what it all means. I guess I just wanted closure.

BTW I thought it was really weird hearing smith call NEO by his name instead of "Mister Anderson". I guess maybe that was the Oracle in him, ehh?

[quote:7af6d716a4="bush555"]Perhaps he'll manage it in "The Matrix Resurrection," "The Matrix Revelations" or "The Matrix Redeployed."
[/quote:7af6d716a4]

I think you meant "The Matrix Rehashed".

As long as Carrie-Anne shows up in sunglasses (hopefully...?), I'll likely be in line...[/quote:e307fb02c9]

Same here (except it would be Keanu)

I really had hoped for a solid ending myself in which humans won freedom from the machines, but I guess there is more money to be made. I doubt there will be more movies, but rather this comic they are marketing to fill the void - slowly and painfully. Unfortunately, I am not the comic type. I hope they realize how they left us fans in such a pickle - they could call #4 Matrix Resolved!

LOL Thanks for sharing!

****do not read if you have not seen the movie yet***

So They were all programs.

In the second movie you learn that this is the 5th time the matrix has been loaded.

I found the the 3rd movie a little too much about religion for me :?

Agent Smith = moral decline in society

The Oracle = mother earth or nature

The architect = the universe

frenchman(merovingian)= Satan

Neo = Jesus
He burns up into a cross of light and the key is every one says if you
only believe So by believing in Neo, people gave him the power to defeat Agent Smith (moral decline)

In the end this is what i got from the movie ... The machines ran in to the same problems early humans did. A need for some sort of "program" to control the masses. This "program" is religion itself. Tell or show the population that if you sink into moral decline you will burn in hell. Just believe in Jesus and everything will be ok. The people in Zion were Pagans and only had to believe their religion was the wrong one to win. Then the machines stopped and peace came when they believed in Jesus AKA Neo.

If thats true how did Satan put Jesus in another world?

Hawaiian E

Neo was in limbo-Between both worlds. He put himself there. The frenchman wouldn't let him out.

I agree, the movie wasn't as great, and the religious overtone was just too heavy.

If you want to see a good movie, go see "Elf", it was really funny and gets you into the Christmas spirit.

i really wish i would have waited to see revolutions until it came out on dvd. I know I will have to watch it a few times to figure everything out. (Racking head trying to figure everything out now).
