: What are your plans for Friday if you AREN'T going to the Plant??
LmentalMastiffs 05-27-2008, 08:32 AM Just curious, I am considering giving up my plant spot to someone who's not had the opportunity to go.
So, what's the plan for Friday while everyone else is at the plant??
BigAl205 05-27-2008, 09:04 AM Hot tub trampoline Jell-O wrestling :D
_jea_ 05-27-2008, 09:18 AM There is a nice Park of Roses (http://www.clintonville.com/parkrec/rosegarden.html) in Columbus and a great ZOO (http://www.colszoo.org/defaultnoflash.aspx). I think it will not be that difficult to find something to do.
I'm not getting in until about mid-afternoon Friday. I'll probably take a nap before going to dinner.
Hot tub trampoline Jell-O wrestling :D
Pushing Bigal off the trampoline and into the hot tub:D
Kiwi_Box 05-27-2008, 11:18 AM run around and chase gisele and jojo
Twilightzero 05-27-2008, 12:27 PM I'm with Kiwi on that one
My wife won't be going to the plant, I'll drop her off in a big shopping district and pick her up again. Anybody else going shopping she could go with?
Rocket Dog 05-27-2008, 12:29 PM I'm with Kiwi on that one

Yeah. Looks like I'm bringing the entire Rocket Dog clan now. I think the kids will hang out at the pool, I'll talk with Mrs. RD about shopping.
Hopefully Mrs. Twi isn't as twisted as Mr. Twi.

I hope I get to go on the tour...I hate shopping:-(
juliE 05-27-2008, 12:54 PM Easton Town Center is a really cool shopping destination. Lots of fun stores, atmosphere, Cheesecake Factory....
_jea_ 05-27-2008, 12:56 PM I agree with you juliE, ETC is really nice. But why is everybody so crazy about shopping? There are other cute things to do (apart from pushing Bigal off the trampoline and into the hot tub):D

Well partly because she loves to shop and partly because she won't have a vehicle or a license

LmentalMastiffs 05-27-2008, 03:22 PM Well Hell, sounds like there might be a few fun things!!
But the Zoo is out, I'm not wild about viewing animals outside their natural habitates.
And the whole shopping idea, um, I'm going for broke just getting to OH, who the hell has the money to shop?!
juliE, could you possibly help with any other ideas for Friday?
OH DAMN, does that mean if I don't go to the Factory I miss the Driftin' E??

JuliE, you were talking about Jeni's ice cream (http://www.northmarket.com/merchants/merchant_detail.php?m=Jeni's+Fresh+Ice+Creams)
My friends would say there is also a great place for a very good tiramisu' in Columbus.
YH2738EW 05-27-2008, 07:34 PM I would also suggest Graeter's http://www.graeters.com/sub.aspx for excellent ice cream !!
_jea_ 05-27-2008, 07:38 PM Yes, that is the other one. There are quite few places that sell it in Columbus.
Gaily 05-27-2008, 08:23 PM I say we meet at the pool with adult beverages & plan our ambush on the plant attendees

Rocket Dog 05-28-2008, 08:21 AM I'm going with the Rocket Dog tribe to the Air Force museum on Thursday. 757 (Ridgeline friend) is going to be there that day with some others as well. Friday if I'm at the factory tour my wife and kids will go shopping, or hang by the pool, or watch TV.

Rocket Dog 05-28-2008, 08:30 AM What time is the AF Museum trip planned on Thursday? I'm hoping to get into town by 6, so I might miss that.
Loosely coordinated "Thursday morning". I don't think the museum is open in the evenings.
_jea_ 05-28-2008, 08:35 AM The museum is open only from 9 am to 5 pm.

There you go with talk of swingin' again...
chozn4service 06-03-2008, 03:38 PM Anything I can do to help where I can. We go to the Tibbs Drive-Inn here in Indy. It's pretty decent. They have at least three screens and if you time it right, you can watch at least two maybe three flicks. We've gone three times in my previous Element and got there before dark to set up and had all our fixin's. It was great! Anyway, don't know if I'll have time for a Drive-Inn while in Columbus. I know Friday night I'll be at the Winking Lizard, Saturday at Dave & Buster's and Sunday I'm outta there.
Anyway, you all have the info and can make plans your plans accordingly.
Peace!

I'm actually older than that.
We just lit a big fire, and everytime someone walked behind it, it casts their shadow on the cave wall...It was awesome!:D
