: What did you all pay on automatic Y - out the door price
alexz 10-16-2003, 02:15 PM What did you all pay as a final or "out the door" price on a Y model element with automatic transmission? I live in Ontario, Canada.
We (i.e my family) will be buying two Y model automatic elements (2003) and an automatic accord (2003) all at the same time - any advice on bargaining would be appreciated. What kind of discount do you think we can (should) expect if we buy three cars at the same time?

WOW!
I've never bought 2 new vehicles in the same year. I can't even comprehend what it would be like to have 3 new vehicles on my driveway.
Anyway, I pay 21G for my SSM EX 4WD with no other options. If I'm in your shoe, I would ask for free extended warranties for all 3 vehicles. Each warranty worth between $800 to $1200 (US dollar).
This would be a good things to ask for.
Let us know how you come out on the dealing and wheeling.
Good luck
boneheadz 10-16-2003, 07:08 PM 33500,00 out the door with spoiler, remote start, sidesteps steering cover mud flaps.
alexz 10-18-2003, 12:24 PM Thanks for the responses. Any more out the door prices that people in Canada paid for Elements (Y model) would also be appreciated.
boxonw: Thanks for the suggestion to ask for an extended warranty. Incidentally, the cars will be on different driveways unless we are all visiting each other :)
thirstE 10-18-2003, 04:59 PM i've got an AWD auto Y, no dealer options, picked it up Jan 24th and it was list. That is $28, 900 plus $850 freight and PDI plus PST (8%) and GST (7%). Should add up to $34,212.50. Every dealer in Ottawa has got from 5 to 15 on their lot which makes me think supply is no longer an issue. Surely 1 to 2K off list isn't out of the picture. Having said that, Honda ain't much for dealing.

Johnula 12-05-2003, 09:17 PM $27,900.60. Y-package, 2WD, 5-speed, Keyless entry, GST@7%, PST@8%, Freight, PDI, Gas Tax, Air con Tax. Out the door.
riotgirl007 12-08-2003, 11:16 PM Mine was 33300 total with Y package, AWD, auto, alarm, keyless, mud flaps, and 5.9% or a bit less financing which i think is pretty good for Honda.
Vancouver. I phoned a few dealers and they just quoted me the MSRP and another salesman wouldnt give me a price unless I go down there to look at it. I phoned a broker and he basically gave me a price of $800 less than MSRP for the 2wd Y packaged element and $1100 less the MSRP for the 4wd Y package.
It was 27054 for the 2wd y and 29174 for the 4wd y .This is all before GST and PST
macphail 03-21-2004, 08:10 PM '03 GG AWD Automatic Y-Package: $36,000 out the door.
Includes all taxes and license fee, Honda Plus (7 year/160,000 KM - $1,549+), Rust Inhibitor ($399+).
Cheers, Derek
Quicksilver 03-21-2004, 09:16 PM I just bought an 2004 Y FWD on Saturday. My basic price was $24,800 plus PDI and taxes. But, note that it is a manual transmission and 2 wheel drive. FYI.
espresso 03-29-2004, 01:43 AM Price I just negotiated for a black 2004 Element Y AWD (manual transmission), with block heater and wheel locks:
$27838 + AC levy + Tire Levy + GST = $29915.06.
Would have cost me about $1000 all in for AT, which would bring the "drive away" price for this model with AT to $30915.06.
Wish it had side airbags, but otherwise I'm content.
Zester 03-30-2004, 07:33 PM I paid $36,000 total (after taxes etc.), for my 2004 SOP Y-PKG 4WD (automatic)...that price includes freight etc...everything....as well as hood deflector, rear deflector, sidestep bars, all weather floor mats, front and rear bumper trims, leather steering wheel cover, metal trim kit (all 3), rocker panel trim, seat covers, and a few other goodies I know I'm forgetting. *heh*
lizzurd 03-30-2004, 10:22 PM $33,100 out the door.....4WD Y pkg and auto.....no accesories.........i work in a parts dept and bought and intalled most of my accessories after taking delivery myself.
PowerPlay 05-13-2004, 05:38 PM Iam not sure what a good deal is on the Element 2WD Automatic, but Iam looking at one and the cost is $25,500 plus tax and then 20% off any accesories. What do you think good deal or keep looking?
Quicksilver 05-13-2004, 08:20 PM Powerplay: I paid $24.8 Cdn front wheel drive, manual tranny + taxes and delivery/setup so your price for the same thing with auto sounds okay to me. The dealer from which I bought also offered 20% off the Honda's site list price for options.
PowerPlay 05-13-2004, 09:16 PM Quicksilver: Thanks for the info I think Iam going to go with this but will still see if I can work them down.
PowerPlay 05-13-2004, 09:31 PM Nate: Would you mind emailing me and telling me a few things about the deal you recieved on your E... I think I have a pretty good deal on the line but would look to go to Clagary to see what I could do cseida@hotmail.com
THANKS
