venture 03-02-2003, 10:47 PM Its a done deal. Magnetic antenna placed just in front of radio antenna. Routed wire under plastic to right suicide door, down to rocker panel cover and up kick panel. With that in mind, I ordered an Antenna Specialists XM-8100F 8.5 inch On-Glass XM Satellite Antenna from Crutchfield. This way the wiring I do is 100% internal to the car which will make it much easier for me and the antenna is permanently attached to the car (it folds down for car washing purposes). This presents an opportunity to use the magnetic mount for trips in other vehicles. Peace, -jdef | ||
