I cannot describe to you how delicious our apartment smells right now- the boys are going nutso. They spent the last hour sitting at the kitchen door watching me bake. The final results are cooling as I type, but here are a few highlights from our baking adventure!
http://www.californiak9kitchen.com/ sent us some goodies and we finally set aside some to bake them. What a great Sunday afternoon activity!

Here are the mixes we had to choose from, we decided on Peanut Butter- an all time favorite flavor of our boys (not to mention us humans, my skin kids are drooling over the smells as I type). The packaging is wonderful, notice the little cookie cutters? I love the labeling and messages from Guido- too cute.

So, the peanut butter cookies require a few simple ingredients.

Mixing them all up to form a dough.

The boys waiting anxiously at the kitchen doorway- they never left their station.

This is a bad time to find out that your rolling pin is not where it should be...so we continue and improvise.
Although I love the little cookie cutters that they graciously include, I thought this would be a great time to finally use the Sequoia Tree cookie cutters an old friend gave me awhile back, too.
