There is a new 4WD GG Element cruising the streets of London today. Picked it up from the dealership in Brantford last night. I was walking around the office today with a big grin on my face all day. Can't wait to rack up some kms this weekend.
Ordered it mid August, and showed up at the dealership on Tuesday evening (a few weeks later than scheduled) but at least it made it.

Your Element will be well worth the wait! And Galapagos Green is an awesome colour - that's the colour I choose too after visiting Galapagos last Xmas. It's now 4 months old and has over 8,000 km on it from various hiking and camping trips!

Looking fwd to waving to another happy E-Rider on the road!

How much did you pay after taxes and every other charge (if you don't mind my asking) and what was its configuration.

Glad to have you aboard. I occassionally visit London, so if you see someone waving from a SSM, it may be me.

I'm in London and still undecided about what to get. So far I've narrowed it down to:
1) "E" 5-speed (FWD of course). Black or silver.
2) '01 Honda Prelude (my dream car)
3) Civic SIR (I like the interior except the lack of armrest)
4) Honda Accord (5-speed, leather, 4-cyl)
5) CR-V .. after reading another thread "Talking myself out of an E", the CR-V looks appealing. But it still looks like family car to me. Might as well buy a mini-van!!

Right now they have a Black 5-speed Element at Westgate. And a Silver 5-speed at London Honda. They have 10+ Elements at LH and they don't seem to be moving them. LH sold an SOP pretty quickly. There's now an SOP at Westgate and I don't think that one will last long. The other colours seem to sit around. So I think I should be able to get closer to invoice price.

Tough decision , eh? :)

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone. It certainly has been worth the wait. I too look forward to waving to my fellow Element drivers as we pass by one another.

Alexz - We paid awfully close to $35,000 for the 4WD Y-package. That included the privacy curtain, sunroof shade screen, remote entry with security system, hood nose guard, and roof rack cross bars.

ra300z - Don't aim for close to invoice. You should have no problem getting them down to $500 below invoice, and possibly even more.

im a little biased here...but i work for a dealer and after seeing all the colours day after day........i think the E looks best in GG.
