2 - Provide greater AC adjsutment range. For warnmer climates, after the second click, theres very liitle cold air. The other Honad Cars give a farther range in AC cooling. Keep what we expect from all your cars working the same<<

I don't own one yet you guys, but I'm a little edgy about the above A/C comment. Anyone?

Also, does anyone drive an E that has kids? Am wondering about the useability i.e; dropping off kids at school - thought I heard I'd have to get out and open my door first before kids door would open/door not able to be opened by kids/passengers in rear of vehicle - is this true? Love the idea but daily drivability has me worried :-(

thanks in advance you guys;

I think one of those observations is right and the other is half right.

My ac goes from freezing my a$s off, to a little chilly, to not cool enough, to warm.

I think if you've got kids in the back seat and no one in the passenger seat you can hit the lever that sends the passenger seat all the way forward with the back tilted far to the front and the kids could let themselves out the front door. I haven't tried it but don't see why it shouldn't work.

That said, if you need interior volume there's nothing like an E. If you don't there well might be better choices for a family car.

I live in Gilbert and have found the AC to be the best I've had in a vehicle yet. Keeps it nice and chilly and quickly even at 123. You can always adjust the temp knob if its too much for you. But is there such a thing as too much AC in Arizona? :)

The door issue nay be a plus for you since the kids can't jump out til you are ready. Downside is, you have to get out and open your door, although I haven't tried Cameramans suggestion either.

I live in Atlanta so our tems aren't as high as yours. We only get to mid 90's and (This was a cool year we only hit 90's a few times) BUT we always have insane humidity.
Anyway I have a Black EX and the A/C in this thing is the coldest I have ever had. Even in stop and go traffic the Elephant gets uncomfortably cold. I would have the dealer check it out.

You don't technically have to get out of the car, but you do have to open your door in order for the back doors to open. I don't think it's that much more inconvenient than having doors that open the traditional way.

Yes, you have to undo the seatbelt, but the point remains that you don't actually have to get out.

Darker tint / reflective tint can keep any automobile a whole lot cooler.

I, too, live in Gilbert and the AC is the best I have ever had. It was my main concern about buying the car. We really love it, even with the kids.
