Mine --- 22.6 MPG up or down the mountain... well, close anyway!!
How can they get 35 MPG out of a Fit with almost the same engine?
Has anyone had a dyno tuner do anything for mileage ? There must be a deep secret somewhere to be had !!!

Also the Fit has a 1.5L engine vs the E's 2.4L

In these times of tough CAFE regs if there was a way to string out a few more mpg it would be fairly safe to say that Honda would have found it.

engine size, vehicle weight, transmission gearing, height, width, frontal area, drag coefficient, tires, etc... many, many reasons. Oh, fwd vs awd is another one you can't discount either.

Larry !!
Appreciate your input and I guess all of those things explains it.
Shame though -- that GM got it so right and Honda....????
""Well"", back to the org post.
I just thought that some of the gang here might have had some luck having a special tune that helped the MPG or something like that.
