Hey All,
I installed a set of driving lights in the foglight cavities, and I'm now finding that they're a bit bright and hard to aim in a downward direction.
I've noticed a bunch of cars now days are using bright amber lights rather than headlamps as daytime running lamps. So, I thought I might try to modify my driving lights to put out a diffuse amber light and use them as DRLs.
I wouldn't mind scrapping the driving lights I got, and starting with new lights if any of you can point me to a set of round amber turn signals or parking lights that are 3-4 inches wide.
Or alterntively, I'm starting to look for a clear amber lens that I can use to simply cover the driving lights, hopefully with the lens being of a large enough diameter that they fill the entire foglight cavity.
Anyone know of a place to get such a lens, or have any other suggestions?
