Did you take your E out to the Playa? I'd say it would be pretty much dust colored after a week of that.

BM pattern is recognizable anywhere, although I've never actually been.

I didn't want another green vehicle but, GGM was available and silver was a couple months wait. I'm sure glad I'm an impulse buyer because I can't see myself driving any other colour now.

And to some of those answering my milwaukee scenery question...nevermind. I'll figure out something and hopefully blow your mind. haha most likely not but I guess you'll just have to wait and see. I was also thinking about miller park...I think this might have to be an album of my E and a few cool mil town spots.

Thanks for the compliments! I think they turned out pretty nicely too. I am amazed at how, after not being washed in a month, it still looks spotless in pictures though. I feel bad for neglecting it but I promise that this friday it'll get some sweet one-on-one time with me.

I really couldn't think of any other cool landmarks in milwaukee tho, it was kinda disappointing but I guess I'll just have to keep my camera ready.

It's a bed.

Typically the rear hatch opens to a kitchen galley. I skipped the galley and haul gear back there.

Lookin' real good!! I have always like that front bumper garnish, I just don't like worrying that I am going to get pulled over because I don't have my front plate on. I have already paid that fine a couple of times from other vehicles.

Thanks Greg,

The front garnish actually have the option for lic plate mounts and is not exactly legal in Cali state nor any other states I know, you don’t actually get pulled over for not having it, I just avoid parking in any City properties especially were theirs city parking enforcement around.

Yea, I know you can put a plate on it, but it kinda takes away from the whole look. The fine for no front plate (last time I got one) was $105. The E doesn't get profiled like my S13 does so maybe it wouldn't be as big a problem. I actually would have paid the fine a 3rd time while driving my Civic, but I had an FOP card from a friend.

Just added dual exhaust to my Little Green Box. Nice tone but still more muted than I would like. Will try it out for a few months & change it if I don't like it.
Air deflectors front & rear, window air deflectors, splash guards, side steps, roof rack, sunshade screen, pinstripe, rear bumper trim, rocker panel trim, leather steering wheel cover, tinted windows, bosch icon wipers, weather tech floor mats f/r, cargo tray, dual exhaust w/magnaflow tips, dunlop rover a/t tires, fog lights.

Thanks! I probably searched the classifieds, magazines, and forums for a year before I chose the ones you see on the Element. I originally wanted to go with a set of Tenzo (meshy) style rims but the 5 "thick" spoke looked a little more factory. Plus having them in an 18 isn't that bad either.

I also refinished the rims myself too. They were in pretty bad shape when I bought them locally on Craigslist.

Thanks for the compliments. I have been meaning to answer them in fully but its been a lousy 2 weeks. Lost my job on the 17th, had my wisdom teeth pulled on the 24th, and I think I have a dry socket to boot. Also looking for a job before Christmas sucks. Anyways back to the GGM E'......

I used the following paint to paint my rims. I must've spent about 4-5 hours sanding them with 3 different grits of sandpaper. Just roughing them up a little and making sure the primer would hold as well as the rim paint. The rims again are TC-Evo's from Axis rims. They usually come with a coloured lip but the previous owner wasn't exactly a genius or very helpful when it came to this.

Cheers..

very nice and well done, i was thinking the same way with SC wheels, paint the gray area in bronze or gold, maybe in the future, still loved the gray finished.

Chickenball
11-28-2009, 06:09 PM
I don't mind the SC wheels. In fact they were my first choice. I probably waited about 6 months before I gave up on trying to find a set. I always thought that most gold, black, gunmetal, and bronze finishes would look good on a GGM. I don't know about the Kiwi though. I think if you do Kiwi you gotta do something outrageous like white or polished.
