Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who may be interested.

I'm going to The Vonn Jazz Lounge to hear Cynthia Layne, a local jazz artist from Indy who will be performing in Columbus. She gave a outside show on the canal two weeks ago and from what I hear, it was off the chain. She also has been performing at the Conrad here in Indy as well.
The cover is $10.00 and the show starts at 8:00 P.M.

Just so happens she'll be in Columbus during the meet weekend and since I missed here performances here, I plan to check her out while in the Buckeye. Here is here website if you would like to check it and her out.

From the music I've heard, she's a very talented woman and I know after the ripping and running on Friday, and again on Saturday, I probably will be in the mood to sit back in a lounge and chill listening to her melodic tones and reverberations with the instrument God gave her.

Anyone who may be interested, you're more than welcome to follow or tag along. The Vonn Jazz Lounge is roughly 4 miles from the Efficial Hotel of the meet.

Oh yea, did some checking on the Vonn Jazz Lounges web page and reservations are required for the show and there is a $10.00 cover. I called around noon and got the girl who runs the coffee shop inside the place and she said they don't take reservations until after 4pm. I'll give them a call here in a few to make mine.

I asked for a table as close to the performing area as possible which she said she would accomodate me on. We'll see how it goes. Again, anyone looking to go, it should be a great set!

Also the Club Rep said their location is four miles from our hotel, on the same road, just head east. Couldn't be any better than that.
