: Where can I get chrome rings for my steelies?

I've decided to scrap the idea of getting new wheels and I'm going to take off the OEM plastic hubcaps and just keep the stock steelies. I think the black steelies and metallic silver will look nice.

I have 2 questions:

1. Do I need to use any washers since I will no longer be using the hubcaps or will the fit be OK?
2. Where can I get a chrome ring for the steelies?

Thanks!!

Don't get snap in anything for wheels. It actually needs to mount to the wheel if you want to have it on when you get home.

How do you think 90% of all full wheel hubcaps attach to the wheel?

Sand and polish the lip of your steelies and then just use some clear over 'em.

How often do you see hubcaps on the side of the road?

Think of the number of hubcapped cars passing by that hubcap. :-|

Think of the number of non-hubcapped cars whose wheels stay together!

Just put on the set of Moon disks. Simple screw on and I think they look great. Purchased 16 5/8 inch disks. The retail is $36.00 each.

I fought the urge to chrome for years with my BMW motorcycle. Finally made peace with the fact that it aint a chrome thing... ya want chrome, get a hardly (whoops) Harley.
Most Es are in a similar boat.

Reminds me of the late 50's and early 60's when the "Moons" were a must have for your Chevy. There were also "baby moons" that replaced the "hub caps". Nice nostalgia. They look good on your "E"!!:D
