Hello All,

I am new to the forum and have found great advice already. I just got my 06 LX and love it.

The E is a pretty noisy vehicle. I have been using a product called Dexdamp for about 12 years in various cars and it is the best noise control product on the market. (no, I do not sell it) Dynamat is crap. Dexdamp is easy to install and now my E is quiet. Even though I did only the doors and the firewall, it is quiet.

You can buy this at Hamilton Jet in Seattle for about 6.00 a sheet. It is an elastomeric compound with a foil constraining layer. You do not have to clean the area and it is very flexible.

Like I said, I have used this stuff for many years and it works like magic.

It is sold primarily as a marine product but was developed by Dexter Automotive. Hamilton Jet is the only place you can buy this stuff.

Like I stated, i do not sell it. I just love it.

If you have any questions, fell free to email me.

I don't think others understood that you were giving a suggestion for sound deadening material, not asking for one. Thanks for your input and welcome to the board.
