I took my element to the base of Mount Whitney (Highest Peak in the Continental US) and I was really really wishing for an Altimeter!!

We followed that trip with a trip to Death Valley (48 hours later). I wanted an Altimeter there too! Another way Honda could help us get in touch with our Element!

And while I didn't have an altimeter, I did have a bong and about a quarter bag of really good homegrown. I know I was higher 'n you!

It's threads like this that cause my office mates in nearby cubicles to say "Oh God, he's on that Element site again" when I read a post and burst out laughing :D

My dad used to have an altimeter that he bought from surplus at the old aerospace outfit he used to work for. Some unknown business called North American Aviation, which merged with Rockwell to become North American Rockwell, which later became Rockwell International, which was bought out by Boeing.....etc, etc. Anyway, he had it in his 49 Plymouth, then transferred it to the 60 Dodge. Looked rather odd. Wish I had it.
