Just read about it today on Cnet. Sounds like a rival for the ScanGuageII. Any one know anything more about it or know if it will work with the E? Looks pretty cool from the pictures but that could mean jack.

Great looking device... I think the Scangauge is more practical for the price, but for those that need it, the driving technique part would be very useful / effective !

...By plugging into a vehicle's diagnostic port, it can display miles per gallon as well as trip information and even the cause of engine problems.
But really it's designed to make your driving habits more energy-efficient.
Accelerating hard and jamming on the brakes to slow consumes more gas than a smoother, steadier way of driving.
The PLX Kiwi shows off feedback on how you're doing in that regard and gives you a "kiwi score." It's also programmed with 20 increasingly difficult challenges to optimize your score.
Making changes to driving patterns can lower gas consumption by 20 percent with gas at $4 a gallon, according to the company. That savings can go up to 33 percent if your driving is mostly on highways....

Well yes I understand that but I was reading on here on other threads that the diagnostic port on the elements (or Honda's in general) don't carry the information to get accurate mpg readings. So is it even worth getting something like this?

This "device" is only going to give you feed back - The hope is that the Feed back will help modify the way you drive. Nothing more.

The cost of the device is around $300. It's value is that the feedback it provides can change your driving habits. It seems like you have to save quite a bit on gas in order for this thing to pay for itself.

Just looking at the design and screen shots it looks INCREDIBLY cheap (as in build quality).
The way the menu icons overlap one another and just look all over the place makes it seem like they didn't put a lot of time and effort into this.
I'd read up on good driving techniques and buy a scanguage.
