...or my dog had puppies on the Fourth of July...two of them survived but one did not make it...the dog is a feist and she is the best mother in the whole world...after she get thru with the little ones she then wants her back rub to make her day complete!
...i think she knows that one of the little critters did not make it as night before last she woke me up wanting to search under my bedcovers and pillows for the lost one...she was whining and scratching at the covers as if she was trying to dig up the little one...I feel badly for her because i do not know how to comfort her about this...i just try to love her and tell her that the little one is gone....so sad!
On a brighter note...here are pics...
