Yes, another thread for folks to answer yes/no on.

Found a set, brand new, 19x8.5 +35 for $500. The box will be dropped within a week or two on Tein S-Techs, so, an additional 1.5ish below stock.

Will they rub to death, or will it be close?

It's either this set or Enkei RPF1 18s.

They may rub, they may not. IT will come down to what size tires you put on them.

What tires would be ideal for a non-lowered E?

I don't want to blow all this money on wheels that won't fit because of sidewall thickness.

To match/stay with the stock size overall....the 19's would need a 245/45/19.....18's would take a 245/50/18

If you went down to a 235 width tire you "could" go up 5 on the sidewall with each rim size or stick with the suggested size.

I would guess that you won't rub with that set-up with normal driving only on large dips, potholes and if there's a lot of weight in the E.

I like the Nismo wheels but if you could find a better offset like 45mm that would help in the rubbing issue area.

10mm spacers could fix that offset issue really quick. :D

Actually, no. Using a 10mm spacer on a wheel that has a +35mm offset will yield an effective offset of +25mm.

it depends. 1st off are Elements 5x114.3??? I own a Nissan thats why I dont know. Also Nissans run low offsets like -10 and such im amazed they make them in +35. I run 0 offset on my car. IDK the offsets for Elements.

Yes, Elements are 5x4.5. And Altimas and such are high offset.
