Turned to channel XM40 last week and got an "UPDATING" message, ( a few other channels too).

Now I go to xmradio.com, log on to listen online at my desk and find all channels working through the web while my xm radio in the E still says "UPDATING".

Do I need to re-set something? Anyone else have this problem? Or is the head unit dying already, (E is an '07)?

Sounds like a problem at XM Radio themselves, the XM receiver is actually a seperate item from the head unit it's back on the right quarter panel if memory serves me correctly...:)

I'd contact XM before resetting anything, see if they might be having some issues

I had to register after reading your post, as I now have the same problem. Did you ever resolve what was wrong?
