It's a pretty impressive shift. I wouldn't have thought that it would have happened so quickly. I have to admit that I sort of underestimated my fellow Americans, but I'm surprised that they have such high standards and good taste in cars after the whole big SUV thing goes away. My gf just got an 05 EX coupe which is very nice, but we test drove several 06 and newer Civics and they are GREAT cars. I'm shocked at how much car you get for the money. Plus the Si is ridiculous fun for the money. We Americans can be smart once we put our egos away.

Even up here, where trucks and larger SUVs have reigned supreme for so long, the love affair is now cooling off. I also noticed at car dealers, who used to line up just pickups and SUVs along their front lines are now adding () cars to the mix!! :-P:-P
