I don't know if I'm being too critical or what. I seems that my E doesn't handle the road well or little bumps, at times. At times, it seems that it is actually bouncing while I'm driving. Has anyone experience this or something similiar. I wonder if strong shocks would help. Please respond if you have experienced this or not. Thanks,

Don't know what you're used to, but the Element doesn't have the world's longest wheelbase, at 101.4 inches. With virtually no front or rear overhang, it may appear as if it is a longer vehicle than it actually is. This thing is based on a SMALL car chaissis, the Civic. Considering that, my opinion is that it rides fine, but yes, there is a little bit of "bounce" on stretches of pavement with short spaces between regluar bumps. It's not trying to "pretend" it's a limousime, either though. Your impression may depend on what you're expecting of it.

Little Toad, does it seem always to occur along the same stretch of road?

Just wondering, because in Dallas we have a stretch of overhead near downtown that is "bouncy" due to the nature of the road itself, and kinda sounds similar to what you are describing. The bounce might be more pronounced in my E than it was in the Ford Contour that I traded in, but I attribute it to the E "hugging the road" better (which overall is my preference).
