This is my stereo that I have been working on. I wanted a nice clean system, that was loud and didn't take up much of my valuable space. The sub box was made so that the seats can still fold down, and up out of the way. I needed to keep the spare tire. As my E has 16000 miles on her in 6 months.
Head Unit. Pioneer 7300 with AVM-9000 sound proccesor
Take a look at the pic of the center channel mounted above, I have DTS 5.1 surround sound in me E :D
Front Speakers: MB Quart RSC-216 6.5" Seperates
Front Amplifier: Pheonix Gold QX4075 75w/rms to each
Rear Speakers: Clarian 5.25" Just for the surround sound
Subs. 2-MB Quart PWD-254 10"
Sub Amplifier Alpine MRV-1507 900w/rms to the subs.
Pheonix Gold 1.0 Farad cap.
JL power wires run everything
The subs are a very clean and hard hitting. I didn't just want a thump in my car.
Future plans are MB Quart rear speakers, and stainless steel covers over the subs, amp, cap, and head unit. VCR so I can watch the local stations, and an xbox for those long trips.
I have taken out the sub that I had in the middle console. A Rockford 8" HE. I might put it back for some midbass.
Here is a link to the pictures. As I don't kow how to post
