Let's see how many Elements out there got into "Street View" on Google Map! I found mine parking in front of my office. :D

Us out in the sticks don't have that option. :)

I found mine - also at my office parking lot!
and yes that is a Tow Away Zone sign (but we own the lot - it's good to be the king).

Cool, but scary. What will they come up with next? More importantly, who is they?

Looks like they drove by when I was parked way away from the street. The details are hard to see, but it looks like they drove by the office building when the landlord was having the parking lot re-sealed stripped. On those days, I made sure to park clear of all the mess.

One anomoly is that there are usually 3 Es in the parking lot and I've seen a fourth one come in when I leave. I've also seen another one at one of the businesses across the street.

Okay, my E and my bike are in the snapshot. Not good quality though.

My driveway was empty - no E. There was an article on Street View in the local paper this morning. The pictures for Springfield, Il were taken about a year ago - a photo of a gas station listed gas at $2.58. My E hadn't been born yet.

We've apparently got some decent camera equipment on the cars taking shots of my neighborhood. Here's my E and the wifes '04 Beetle in the driveway.

They are not allowed to do that in Canada....

Stupid big brother, Privacy Commissioner decided it violated our right to privacy by taking our pictures, without our permission...

So we have to make do with satellite pics only...

That's ridiculous. You can take pictures of anybody you want as long as it is in public view.

Took me a While to find My E at my work. It felt like playing "Where's Waldo" with an SOP. The Red arrow shows where it is hiding.

I must not have been home when they were taking pictures of my road...I found my house with my daughters beat up explorer in my driveway...

I have to say that this is really creepy, I am not so sure I like the fact that I could have been out in the yard in my jammies...which happens alot when I am walking my dogs...and it would be posted against my will without my consent...

very creepy...I don't like it

If you think it makes the VW look small...you should see my '89 Prelude next to it! :???: I'll try and get a similar shot this weekend with all three in the driveway lined up small to large.... if you can consider the E large.

Sure, you can take a pic, but you can't publish it without the written consent of all the ppl in the pic...

I didn't say I agree with it, I just said what it is...

How can I take a screen capture of Google Maps? I found it on there - a good shot of the E, but I don't know how to save the picture.... Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What operating system do you have?

Windows: Alt + Print Screen Then paste into a program and save as a jpg file.

OS X: Command+Shift+4 - Capture dragged area and save as a file

Then upload the file to the site.
