We just bought this 2005 Awd EX. Not sure of the actual color, but this thing looks like it's brand new. We love it.

Get the lower grill mod

+1 to this. Save yourself furute repairs and invest the $7 and 1 hour it takes to put a grill guard on to protect your new vehicle.

Oh, and you might want to seek professional help for the mod fever that will overtake you soon enough.

Yeah I noticed the condenser had taken quite a beating, that link has 0 pics in it, is there a link anywhere with directions?

Probably won't do much to the E, besides a yakima bike rack and some tint. I have a 69 camaro that needs a lot of work, and a year ago I sold my 01 SS Camaro that I dumped way too much money into. Thanks for the grill suggestion, I am going to try to get this going.

Already saw that link, none of the pitures show up. I tried it last night and it looked horrible, I suppose I must have done it wrong.

I think there was a server crash or something that resulted in the loss of some of the older photos (those were from 2003). Before my time, but I'm sure others will give you more precise details. You did nothing wrong.

I like the cladding on your house. Outside of Element circles, they're called "shutters" or something like it, I think. ;)

I mean I tried to install the gutter guard and it looked like crap, where are you guys zip tying it to?
Also thanks for the house compliment, I just wish it had a driveway.

Oh, I see. Here's a photo of how I did it. I didn't follow any directions, I just guessed how it should be done. I didn't take the front bumper cover. I just took off the plastic trim piece over the radiator and slid it in position. Then, mostly through luck, I got the zip ties threaded through the holes. If I had to do it over again, I'd definitely take the front bumper cover off. It would have been a lot quicker and easier.

One other thing. I found some thin, nearly gray zip ties at Lowe's. Since they're a little on the wimpy side, I placed several. It's held for two months, so I think it'll be OK.

I did drop the bumper on mine using the OEM fog-light instructions.
Its really not a big deal, but I guess doing it in the street would
be a pain.

You can download the fogs instructions here:

Bring a blanket to set it on once it's removed. It's surprisingly easy to scuff if up on asphalt or concrete!

That does not look too bad, thats how I did mine except I bought the black plastic gutter guard. On the ends i couldn't get my hand up there to zip tie it. I'm still trying to figure out what i will do.

Mine did do that a little on one end, but nobody notices it unless I
point it out. Someone on this site posted they used two part
epoxy on the ends to keep in place. I am going to do this next
time I need to remove the bumper, but its not bad enough to
do it till then.

I think I am actually going to buy a black lower grill from the grille guy.
