I have been running the Motegi DP1 Wheels in 18" x 8" with a +40mm Offset shod with Federal Super Steel 595 Tires in 235/50ZR18 for a couple of summer seasons now (May into October). I have not done any modifications to the suspension. This Tire's Diameter approximates stock tire diameters. This configuration is considerably wider than stock, yet does not excessively protrude from the fender well thus keeping debris off of the paint. I have experienced no rubbing nor abrading.
