People have been hounding me to post picks of my new home...so here's the info. It's 1350 square feet sitting on a pretty level .7 acre lot. It's one level with a huge crawlspace, but no garage (I have plenty of space to build one later). The house has 3 BR, 2 baths, eat-in kitchen and a laundry room. It also has an awesome country porch to rock and drink some iced tea. The previous owners moved to Kentucky and it sat vacant for several months and the bushes are overgrown. I'm in the process of trying to get the yards back into shape...ignore the bushes...my hedge clippers bit the dust halfway through.

Here's a few outdoor pics...

They're building a new gated community behind me, so that should help my property value. :grin: I'm also getting a free privacy fence when they build behind me.

The standing barrel is an old burn-barrel that the previous owner used to incinerate paper, leaves and tree limbs...I'll eventually get rid of it. Houses around here vary from plain slab foundation to full walk-out basements, just depending on the lay of the land and the builder's ideas.

Hey maybe he'll be at work, and we can cook, eat at the elegant table, burn some trash in the burn barrel, sit out back, then lounge in the LR and play some Wii games on the widescreen!:)

I've already started modding.:) The old country handles just weren't my style so I found a six-pack of contemporary handles at Target for $9. I'm thinking about painting the cabinets to give it an updated feel but I can't decide what color (maybe NBP :rolleyes:). The faux stone linoleum wil eventually have to go, also.
